Emergency stop on the street

Yesterday I was driving my car to a class for my wife. Suddenly my car stopped on the street and I was very embarrassed when so many cars behind me was honking. I was thinking to call insurance company but in emergency I had to turn the engine on again. At first it didn't start and I turned the air conditioner off and then I started it again and the engine started luckily. I pulled my car to the safe area, right side of the street slowly. I got an idea that something happened in my air conditioner because recently it didn' t work sometimes. I wanted to call the insurance company to pull my car but since the engine started after the air conditioner was off I thought I could drive my car to the car center nearby. So I could drive my car to the car center that I used to go. I told the repairman what happened in the morning and the repairman checked my car and he found out the temperature in the engine was 115°c and he said engine temperature should be less than 90° Celsius at most. And finally he found the cooling fan in the radiator didn't operate and the engine temperature went up high. He changed the cooling fan with new one. There were many drivers to repair their cars in the car center and I had to wait for hours and I couldn't go to my class in the afternoon. My car has been using for 16 years and troubles are going to occur. I am considering buying a new car but not decided what to buy. My next car would be the Palisade or the Canival.
