Self speaking practice

 

It is not easy to practice English speaking in Korea since there are not enough people to talk with. From the time when I was learning English conversation for the first time in University I would think it is impossible to be fluent in English speaking in Korea. However, these days many kinds of apps are developed for communicating with people around the world thanks to the smart phone. I would think If I am young now I can learn many kinds of foreign languages with my smart phone. About 2 years ago, I had started to learn English speaking in the internet by using my smart phone. I can talk and chat with native people in the apps easily. Nowadays my English speaking skill has improved somewhat and I think natives understand my pronunciation and intonation. So I started practicing speaking by myself. I talk to my self in English whenever I have a free time. It is very clear that we are not going to be fluent without speaking enough time. In Korea we can’t have enough time to speak in English in daily life. Only way to have enough time for speaking is to talk to myself in English everyday. Of course there are preconditions before one talk to himself in English. His pronunciation and intonation should be good enough and also he needs to understand what the natives are talking. I will give you my finger crossed! Let’s go get it!
